Grape Ape Review

Grape Ape

Grape Ape

Name: Grape Ape

Dispensary: Joint Healing (San Diego)

Grade: B

Type: Mostly Indica

Lab test results: THC: 15.48%, CBD: 0.76%, CBN: 0.10%

Lineage: Afghani crossed with Skunk #1

Looks: Compact, spongey and leafy nugs. Mostly light green buds with orange hairs and heavy trichome coverage. Brittle to the touch, but dank and slightly sticky when broken up.

Smell: Sweet, earthy, tart, grapey and slightly skunky. Familiar sweet “purple” scent.

Taste: Sweet and earthy flavor very similar to the smell. Pleasant taste. The vapor was smooth with minimal lung expansion.

Buzz: Relaxing body buzz with a cerebral and slightly euphoric head high. The buzz was functional and not overly sedative. Good for the afternoon and evening.

Summary: A sweet tasting purple strain with a light and comfortable buzz. I prefer batches of Grape Ape with purple buds and a “goofier” high. This is a good strain for joints and works well when mixed with other strains.
